WTF?
A 60 year-old man has sued an 8 year-old boy for bumping into him on a ski slope, alleging that the child was “skiing fast and recklessly.” The man emerged from the terrifying event with a torn shoulder tendon. Sounds like a perfectly standard skiing injury to me.
Uh, buhscuse me? First of all, it’s been a while since I skiied, but are there speed limits on the slopes now? Second, I’d love to know how the hell skiing is supposed to be anything but fast and dangerous to everyone involved, unless you’re all skiing on perfectly level ground.
I hope that jerk’s shoulder never gets better. Suing an 8 year-old, honestly.
Get health insurance, you twerp. Seriously. You’re 60 and skiing. You can afford it, and you need it. Do not get upset when you get hurt. If that’s your style, play mini golf.
