What’s That About al-Qaeda Not Being in Iraq?
U.S. troops have rescued 6 torture victims from al-Qaeda safe houses (read: torture houses) in Iraq. One house was full of torture implements, hung neatly along a wall and lined up on a table, and a series of how-to illustrations on torture. The Smoking Gun has posted pictures of all this.
This is just the latest evidence that al-Qaeda is indeed operating inside Iraq. So why are the Democrats hellbent on retreat? Is their position really that the U.S. cannot even legitimately fight al-Qaeda anymore?
This also shows what real torture is. Not that lefties will care.
As Ann Coulter pointed out once, Al-Qaeda operatives and cells have been found in over sixty countries. Is Iraq the only Al-Qaeda free zone? I think not!
